Day 1 Scott and the shuttles will transfer you from your door to our meeting point where our coach will be
waiting to take you to the heart of the Hunter Valley. Along the way we make a stop at Morpeth. Steeped in
history and charm, Morpeth is a delightful riverside village and one of the Valleys most treasured areas. Once a
bustling port, this quaint town is now a vibrant hub of unique boutiques, chic cafes, and historic landmarks. We
take a leisurely historic stroll around town, where honey-coloured stone buildings house an array of charming
shops. After a winery lunch we take a tour of the Hunter Valley Gardens by day. Built by Bill and Imelda
Roche over four years as a place to soak up nature at its most stunning, the 10 individually themed gardens
showcase gardens from around the world utilising both native and exotic varieties of plants. Some free time at
Hunter Valley Village before reaching our accommodation. (Voco by IHG 2 nights).
Day 2 A wonderful day out in the Upper Hunter Region. Our local guide takes us on a stunning journey
through the area and to one of the worlds best thoroughbred studs in Godolphin. After lunch in a century old
Hotel, we explore the Denman locality with visits to Bengalla Mine & Two Rivers Wines. This evening we are
out for dinner before heading back to the gardens to immerse ourselves in the Christmas Lights Spectacular. It
is the largest Christmas light exhibit in the Southern Hemisphere, featuring over one million twinkling lights
spread across intricately themed displays.
Day 3 A scenic drive through the Hunter Valley this morning on our way to the mouth of the Hunter River. All
aboard for our Newcastle Harbour Lunch Cruise, a perfect end to our trip. Live entertainment and bon bons are
just the beginning of your Christmas themed lunch celebrations. Grab your friends and family, don your
Christmas hat and be merry. This afternoon we say farewell as the coach takes us back to Sydney.
